As I was driving around this morning, I noticed an unusually high number of cars with their lights on. When I pointed this out to my passenger, he claimed this is a Leap Year Day tradition. He’s been known to pull my leg, so I’m asking all of you, have you heard of this practice? Any other Leap Year Day traditions I should know about?
Yeah, it’s true. As far as I can remember, driving around with the lights on is a leap day tradition. I don’t know what it means or where it got started but everyone does it. Maybe it’s just a Mexican thing?
Didn’t notice that. Have never noticed that. Don’t do that. So, I’d say he’s pulling your leg.
That boy in the postcard is tooooo much. I’m kinda creeped out!
I think your passenger may be taking YOU for a ride!
The boy is creepy! He looks like he has frog legs.
I don’t know of any traditions for Leap Day.
I agree with both Cindy and Bob, not only is the boy creepy, the girl has a big ol’ creepy elephant sized chin. Neither are very cute but I love the postcard.
Anyways, I get the feeling my passenger was ‘having a laugh’ with the whole headlights on Leap Day tradition. Who’s to say we can’t start a few traditions of our own, though? Next Leap Day, drive with your headlights on!
