Soon after I posted my initial photo here, the folks at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.losanjealous.com\/\">Los Anjealous<\/a> attempted to rally their readers to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.losanjealous.com\/2007\/06\/12\/now-leasing-latin-playboy\/\">take over the bar<\/a> but it seems no one took up the challenge. Perhaps too many folks think like <a href=\"http:\/\/la.curbed.com\/archives\/2008\/09\/gentrificationwatch_art_galleries_replacing_taco_stands_in_highland_park.php\"><a href=\"http:\/\/la.curbed.com\/\">Curbed <\/a>readers<\/a> and assume <a href=\"http:\/\/la.curbed.com\/archives\/2008\/09\/gentrificationwatch_art_galleries_replacing_taco_stands_in_highland_park.php\">any neighborhood with lots of Mexicanos is too &#8220;ghetto&#8221;<\/a> for them.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>More than a year later and still the same old letters holding on.
